Your electric bike’s lead acid battery is probably dying. It used to give you 40 km, now it barely does 15. You’ve heard lithium is better, but the prices you see online are all over the place.

This guide breaks down the 72V lithium battery price in Pakistan, along with 48V, 60V and 76V options. You’ll see real prices, real range figures, and which pack fits your bike and budget.

Quick answer

The 72V lithium battery price in Pakistan starts at Rs 79,000 for a 20Ah pack and goes up to Rs 219,000 for 60Ah. Prices were checked in September 2026. A 72V 30Ah pack costs Rs 115,000 and gives 72-87 km per charge. All packs come with a 3-year warranty.

What is the 72V lithium battery price in Pakistan?

The 72V lithium battery price in Pakistan starts at Rs 79,000 for a 20Ah pack and reaches Rs 219,000 for 60Ah. These prices were checked in September 2026. The price depends on capacity, not voltage alone. A 72V 30Ah pack costs Rs 115,000, a 40Ah costs Rs 149,000, and a 60Ah costs Rs 219,000.

For comparison, a 48V pack starts at Rs 56,000, a 60V at Rs 67,000, and a 76V at Rs 79,000. The higher the voltage, the more cells you need, so the price goes up. But higher voltage also means better efficiency and less heat.

Voltage 20Ah 30Ah 40Ah 60Ah
48V Rs 56,000 Rs 82,000 Rs 103,000 Rs 150,000
51.2V Rs 56,000 Rs 82,000 Rs 103,000 Rs 150,000
60V Rs 67,000 Rs 105,000 Rs 125,000 Rs 183,000
63V Rs 67,000 Rs 105,000 Rs 125,000 Rs 183,000
72V Rs 79,000 Rs 115,000 Rs 149,000 Rs 219,000
76V Rs 79,000 Rs 115,000 Rs 149,000 Rs 219,000

These are the pack prices. Installation is free at the I-9/3 Islamabad workshop. If you are outside Islamabad, you get wiring guidance and nationwide delivery in safe packaging.

How many km can a 72V lithium battery run?

A 72V 20Ah lithium battery runs 48-58 km per charge. A 30Ah runs 72-87 km, a 40Ah runs 96-115 km, and a 60Ah runs 144-173 km. These figures are for normal riding on flat roads with one rider.

In real Pakistani conditions, expect less range if you ride with a passenger, carry heavy loads, or face strong headwinds on the Motorway. Peak summer heat also reduces range slightly. The good news is that lithium holds its voltage better than lead acid, so the last 10 km feels the same as the first 10 km.

Summer heat

In peak summer heat, range drops noticeably. Park in shade and charge during cooler hours.

Passenger or load

Carrying a second rider or heavy cargo cuts range noticeably. Choose one capacity higher if this is daily.

Speed

Riding at full throttle drains the pack faster. Cruising at a steady, moderate throttle gives the best km per charge.

Road condition

Stop-and-go city traffic uses more energy than steady highway riding. Plan your capacity for your worst route.

Which voltage do you actually need: 48V, 60V, 72V or 76V?

Your bike’s controller decides the voltage. A 48V bike takes a 48V pack. A 60V bike takes a 60V pack, and a 72V bike takes a 72V pack. Never fit a higher voltage pack to a lower voltage controller unless the controller is rated for it. The motor will overheat and the controller can fail.

If you are building a new EV or upgrading the whole system, higher voltage gives better efficiency. A 72V system draws less current for the same power, so wiring stays cooler and the motor runs smoother at high speed.

Bike voltage Best pack Typical bikes Range (30Ah)
48V 48V or 51.2V Evee Flipper, Mito, Mito+ 50-60 km
60V 60V or 63V Evee Nisa, GEN-Z, LX, Sqube 60-75 km
72V 72V or 76V Evee S1, S1 Pro, S1 Air, GEN-Z Pro 72-87 km

Most Jolta bikes run 60V or 72V systems. If you are not sure what your bike uses, check the controller label or the old battery sticker. You can also send a photo to our WhatsApp and we will confirm.

72V lithium battery options and prices

The 72V Li-ion / LiFePO₄ EV Bike Battery (20Ah–60Ah) comes in four capacities. Each one uses EVE cylindrical cells and a smart BMS that protects against over-charging, deep discharge, over-current, short circuits and thermal imbalance.

Every pack is load tested and its BMS checked before it leaves the workshop. Custom shapes are built to fit your battery compartment at no extra charge for the same voltage and capacity. Connectors and charge ports are matched to your existing setup.

Is a 51.2V LiFePO4 battery better than a 48V lithium battery?

For most riders, yes. A 51.2V LiFePO4 pack works on most 48V controllers (check the controller rating first), gives slightly more voltage headroom, and handles heat better than standard Li-ion. The price is the same: both start at Rs 56,000 for 20Ah.

LiFePO4 chemistry is more stable at high temperatures, which matters in Pakistani summers. It also lasts more cycles. If you ride daily and park in the sun, the 51.2V Li-ion / LiFePO₄ EV Bike Battery (20Ah–60Ah) is the safer long-term choice.

Heat tolerance

LiFePO4 handles high heat better than standard Li-ion. Important for Lahore and Multan summers.

Cycle life

Both are rated up to 4000 cycles. LiFePO4 often reaches the higher end in real use.

Voltage compatibility

51.2V works on 48V controllers. You get a small efficiency gain with no wiring changes.

60V lithium battery for electric scooty: price and options

A 60V lithium battery for an electric scooty starts at Rs 67,000 for 20Ah and goes up to Rs 183,000 for 60Ah. The 30Ah pack at Rs 105,000 is the most popular for daily commuters because it gives 60-75 km per charge.

Most 60V scooties in Pakistan, including the Evee Nisa and GEN-Z, use a 60V 32Ah graphene pack from the factory. Graphene is still lead acid chemistry and lasts 2 to 3 years. A lithium pack at the same voltage lasts up to 8 years with proper charging.

The 60V Li-ion / LiFePO₄ EV Bike Battery (20Ah–60Ah) fits these bikes. If your controller allows 63V, the 63V Li-ion / LiFePO₄ EV Bike Battery (20Ah–60Ah) gives slightly better torque for the same price.

Can I use a 60V lithium battery on a 48V e-bike motor?

No. A 60V pack on a 48V controller will damage the controller and possibly the motor. The controller expects 48V nominal and has capacitors rated for that voltage. Feeding it 60V can blow those capacitors within minutes.

If you want more power from a 48V bike, upgrade the controller and motor together, or stay at 48V and choose a higher capacity pack for more range. A 48V 60Ah pack at Rs 150,000 gives 100-120 km, which is more than most riders need in a day.

Do not mix voltages

60V pack on 48V controller equals burnt controller. This is the most common mistake we see.

Match the label

Check the controller sticker. It says 48V or 60V or 72V. Buy that voltage.

Upgrade as a set

If you want 60V performance, change controller and motor together. We can advise on compatibility.

How do I wire a 48V lithium battery to my e-bike controller?

Match the red wire to red and black to black. Check the connector type first. Most e-bikes use an Anderson plug or a bullet connector. Your new pack should come with the same connector as your old one.

If you are not confident, get it installed professionally. Free installation is available at the I-9/3 Islamabad workshop. For riders outside Islamabad, we provide wiring guidance over WhatsApp with photos.

1

Turn off the breaker

Switch off the battery breaker or disconnect the old pack before touching any wires.

2

Check the connector

Compare the new pack’s connector to the old one. If different, use an adapter or ask us to match it.

3

Connect red to red

Positive to positive, negative to negative. Never reverse polarity. It will destroy the BMS.

4

Test before riding

Turn the key. Check the display. If it shows voltage but no throttle, the controller may need a wake signal.

5

Charge fully first

Charge the new pack to 100% before the first ride. This balances the cells.

Which one should you pick?

Pick by voltage first, then by range. If your bike is 72V, the 30Ah pack at Rs 115,000 is the best balance of price and range for most riders. If you ride 50 km or less per day, the 20Ah at Rs 79,000 is enough. If you do delivery work or ride 100 km+ daily, go for the 40Ah or 60Ah.

For 60V scooties, the 30Ah at Rs 105,000 covers most daily commutes. For 48V bikes, the 51.2V 30Ah at Rs 82,000 gives a small efficiency gain over standard 48V for the same price.
