Most modern EV packs are engineered to last around 15 years, or roughly 180,000 to 200,000 km. The biggest stressor is frequent high-power DC fast charging, so charging at home on AC whenever you can is gentler on the pack. A healthy battery management system also slows degradation considerably.
Usually not. EV packs are made of modules, and very often only one module, a set of unbalanced cells, or the BMS has failed. We can repair or rebuild just the affected part, which costs far less than a complete pack and gives the car years more service.
We work on BYD, Jetour, MG, Haval, Deepal, Changan, and most imported electric and plug-in hybrid cars. If it runs on a lithium pack, send us the make, model, and year and we will confirm.
Yes. We use graded, capacity-matched cells, pair them with a correctly configured battery management system, and test the finished pack for balance and safety limits before it goes back in the car. Every job carries a workshop warranty.
LFP, the chemistry in BYD's Blade Battery and most plug-in hybrids, tolerates high temperatures very well and has a long cycle life, which suits our climate. NMC offers higher energy density and better cold-weather behaviour. We recommend the right cells for your specific car and driving.
